    About Aldie

Aldie is in the south-eastern quadrant of Loudoun county and maintains a small town charm. Tucked into a gap between Catoctin Mountain and Bull Run Mountain on John Mosby Highway (Route 50), the bucolic area has many wineries and equestrian events that bring the new and old communities together.

Recently, new residential communities have started popping up along the edges of town, bringing new life to this historic community. As a result, the eastern part is suburbanized with numerous upscale communities recently built or under construction while most of the Aldie Hills adjacent to the historic Village of Aldie have so far largely preserved heir bucolic character.

The town hosts two annual festivals: in May, the Treasures on the Turnpike, and in October, the Harvest Festival.

Gilbert’s Corner Regional Park is also located in Aldie next to Mount Zion Old School Baptist Church and offers trails and a picturesque view of the Bull Run Mountains and Blue Ridge Mountains ranges.
